NFL commissioner Roger Goodell addressed the subject at a forum Wednesday fan in Charlotte, Carolina Panthers training camp. He said the NFL and Time Warner Cable were in talks about adding NFL Network in time for this season.

"You will be pleased to know that we were in negotiations (Wednesday) with Time Warner," Goodell said at the forum. "We're trying to do.We believe it's good for the fans, we think it is good for Time Warner and we think the market has been set.
