I can be considered what you call a “web superuser,” spending hours online researching and writing and surfing and spying out internet trends.

With all that surfing, I’m grateful for my Norton 360 software, because that allows me to see all the websites and entities below that tried to or actually did install tracking software on my laptop that was removed.

It’s a trip to see all the sites that actually put tracking cookies on your PC, but being a web-marketing person, I’m a big fan of some tracking cookies — especially those from Amazon.com and places like LinkShare or CJ that track customers who buy products via many stores through my affiliate links, so I get paid a portion of the sale.
